SAT-7 TÜRK talk show Let’s Talk About This (below) is helping viewers develop a well-informed Christian faith in a country where the teachings of the Bible are widely misunderstood and often unexplored. Pray for the presenter, Volkan Kaysar, to impart God’s wisdom and love to viewers.

“I’ve been attending [the SAT-7 PARS Zoom teaching sessions] for about two months now,” shared Kamand, a man from Iran. “I really love my new path. I’m still at the beginning of this journey, but I read the Bible every day and am learning.” Pray that the Zoom teaching sessions will continue to illuminate the pages of the Bible for new believers like Kamand.

“My family still doesn’t know about my faith, as saying such a thing is very difficult in Afghanistan,” shared a woman named Banafsheh, who is also facing a very difficult family situation. Let’s join in her prayer: “Pray that God will open the closed doors for me, calm my heart and guide me on the right path.”

The situation for Christians in Syria has become incredibly dangerous since the fall of the Assad regime, with a deadly bombing of a church in Damascus last June emotionally impacting Christians across the country. Pray that believers in Syria will be strengthened in their faith and know peace and safety.

“I met the Lord Jesus Christ in October [2025], and now I feel closer to God,” said Cengizhan, a male SAT-7 TÜRK viewer. “My prayers are being answered, I am happy and peaceful. Please pray for me to know Him better and to grow. I thank the Lord for drawing me to Himself. I love to watch your channel.” Let’s respond to Cengizhan’s prayer requests to know God better and grow in faith.

Baking with Sahar (pictured) marks an exciting new chapter for SAT-7 PARS, as it is the channel’s first programme filmed on location in Iran for many years. Pray that this uplifting cooking show will draw new viewers to SAT-7 PARS.

Sometimes, the obstacles people face in life seem insurmountable. But Jesus tells us that “with God nothing is impossible” (Matthew 19:26b). In light of this, let’s ask to be filled with confidence in the power of God, as we prepare to pray for the obstacles God’s people in the MENA are facing.

When the presenters of Arabic youth programme Jesus Is Our Strength asked their viewers what they would like to overcome in their lives, several viewers said ‘fear’. Pray for every viewer who engaged with this episode to encounter the love of God which casts out all fear.

“Three years ago you prayed for me and my wife, and we came to faith,” said Kia from Iran. “We have always overcome hardships thanks to your prayers for us.” Pray God will richly reward the SAT-7 PARS staff who have prayed for Kia and his wife!

One recent episode of new SAT-7 KIDS programme On the Road with Jesus retold the story of Jesus calming the storm from Mark 4. Pray that young viewers will learn to trust in God’s power and wisdom to overcome fear and anxiety.

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7). Pray that SAT-7’s presenters will be brimming with the Holy Spirit’s power so they can be great role models, especially to our young viewers.

In a survey, our Persian-speaking viewers chose Our Neighbourhood as one of their favourite SAT-7 PARS programmes, citing the show’s relaxed, relational approach and its Bible-based, testimony-heavy conversations. Pray that this programme, which is primarily geared towards helping viewers overcome drug addiction, will have an enduring legacy.

SAT-7 KIDS programme We Grow Together helps children find comfort in their pain, develop resilience by overcoming adversity, and express themselves in a fun and safe environment. Pray that viewers will be filled with hope as they watch along!

“The Lord saved me from cancer; I received healing through faith, and I stayed strong thanks to prayers,” said Neriman, a female SAT-7 TÜRK viewer. “May the Lord use this miracle to strengthen our family bonds, and may they also have faith.” Let’s echo Neriman’s prayer while praising God for his power to heal.

The third season of Naseej (pictured), a profound Christian talk show filmed in front of a live audience, is now airing on SAT-7 ARABIC. Pray that viewers will learn to live with clarity, hope, and wisdom as they watch in-depth discussions about relationships, prayer, and the Bible.

Pray for God to supply SAT-7’s financial needs in the second half of this year, and for SAT-7’s staff members to have peace, confidence and trust that He will do just that.

Forogh, a woman from Iran, said she was “deeply grateful” after engaging in a series of SAT-7 PARS teaching sessions titled Faith and Daily Life. Here are some of the things she learned: “In the lesson on doubt, I was reminded to bring my questions and doubts into God’s presence and maintain my relationship with Him, not to let go, but to ask Him to show me what needs to change within me. “In the second night’s seminar, I felt inadequate and became anxious. I thank you for creating such a safe space that I could share my tumultuous state with you. In the presence of God, we can find peace. “In the last session, I was reminded that Jesus Christ brings about transformation and change in my life at the right times. The heavenly Father will never abandon me, and He watches over me and provides a path for growth.” Praise God for Forogh’s experience of these webinars and pray for the continued growth of her faith!

“How could [families like these] ever be exposed to the Christian faith… unless… it was through a medium such as television?” This thought, which popped into the head of Dr. Terence Ascott near Cairo in 1982, was the spark that would eventually lead to SAT-7’s inception. Thank God for the vision He gave our founder and for the process that led to SAT-7’s first broadcast.

In 1996, SAT-7 opened its International Office in Nicosia, Cyprus, and weekly broadcasts began. Amazingly, Rita El-Mounayer – the current SAT-7 International CEO – presented a children’s Bible story during the first-ever broadcast! Pray for a new generation of godly presenters and leaders to rise up.

By 1999, offices had opened in the UK and in Egypt, and crucially, the Viewer Support journey had truly begun, with trained counsellors able to respond to the concerns of individual viewers over the phone. Pray that God will guide our current-day Viewer Support teams as they engage with viewers in new ways.

In 2006, a new Master Control Room made it possible for SAT-7 to broadcast directly from its International Office in Cyprus, and at the end of the year, SAT-7 PARS was launched. Pray for God’s ongoing blessing and protection over the PARS team.

By 2007, SAT-7 was offering 24 hours of regular programming on their digital channel every day. SAT-7 PARS was also up and running, and SAT-7 KIDS had been launched as its very own channel. Praise God for the growth of SAT-7 KIDS!

In 2009, after years of prayer, SAT-7 ARABIC and SAT-7 KIDS went live on the most popular satellite platform in the region, enabling SAT-7 to reach millions of new viewers! Praise God for the impact of SAT-7 ARABIC in recent years and ask that He will guide them to impact new places and people groups.

In 2015, a new building for the International Office was officially opened and SAT-7 TÜRK became the first and only Christian channel to broadcast on the Türksat platform. Pray for the ongoing flourishing of the SAT-7 TÜRK channel.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name” (Psalm 100:4). 30 years on from SAT-7’s first broadcast, today the ministry serves the whole MENA region through four channels, three main languages, its online streaming platform SAT-7 PLUS, and dedicated Viewer Support teams. Praise God’s name for what He has done for and through SAT-7 up to 2026, and ask that He will continue to use this ministry for His kingdom and glory!
